Store products vs the products your stylist uses

The last John Amico class I attended talked about how products that "consumers" purchase from big name companies & stores, spend more $ on advertisement than ingredients, thus, sacrificing the integrity of the product. What this means, to me, is that YOU don't get the benefit of having a product that will give your hair what it needs. Sure, it says "for professional use only" on the bottle, & this may have been the case before it made its way to grocery store shelves. However, now that YOU & everyone in the country can can go & get it for $2.99-$15.99 a bottle/jar, quality can be sacrificed. Why? Because the conglomerates can make up their profit margin losses via the everyday shopper. Why do they need to spend millions on quality ingredients, when they can make BILLIONS by merely airing a commercial with a famous or friendly face in it? I personally believe that people need to put their trust in the person that does their hair for more than just styling. It becomes difficult to give a person what they require when they have so many options, but believe me when I tell you, in the end, you will see the difference in your hair when you pay for what you get!
